The Housekeeper is a professional domestic cleaning company and we offer a bespoke service, in and around Malmesbury, Chippenham, Cirencester and Tetbury, tailored to meet the needs of our customer base. We have established ourselves through organic growth based on reputation, standard of service and recommendation and are working towards becoming a market leader within the domestic cleaning industry.
The Housekeeper was created with one very simple vision in mind, making life easier for our customers. We understand that every household is different and whilst we all take pride in our home, in today’s busy climate we would rather spend as much time as possible pursuing the things in life that make us happy. We offer a completely bespoke service centered on maintaining the cleanliness of our clients homes. However, we can also manage all the other jobs that they just haven’t got round to or don’t have the time to do such as washing and ironing, cleaning windows or taking receipt of their online grocery shopping order and deliveries.
We are looking to recruit Domestic Cleaners who are confident, trustworthy, and reliable and who are looking to grow and develop within this exciting organisation.
Your role will be to clean client’s homes, working in a safe and hygienic manner whilst ensuring you deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate will also be expected to carry out additional duties such as washing, ironing, delivery and collection of dry cleaning. You may also be required to assist in basic pet care if our customers request it.
We are looking for people who can say yes to the following:
- Have a good standard of written and spoken English
- Have experience of cleaning domestic properties
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Be willing to undertake a Basic Police Act check and provide two references (these will be required without exception)
- Be prepared to work and travel within a 5 mile radius of our locations and have their own transport (mileage allowance for travel outside of this radius)
If you can say yes to the above and consider yourself a person who can add extra value to our business then we want to talk to you. We’ll provide you with full training and support. It would be advantageous if you enjoy and are competent at ironing.
Naturally you’ll need to be out and about visiting client’s homes on a daily basis, so it’s essential that you are of smart appearance and hold a full driving licence with access to your own transport. Company uniform will be provided.
We are offering full or part time hours covering Monday – Friday. Some Saturday working maybe required. Salary £15,600 full time or part time equivalent, plus mileage allowance, pension and bonus.
